National Junior Honor Society & NHS

The National Junior Honor Society is an organization established to recognize outstanding middle school students, based upon five foundational pillars of honor:  scholarship, leadership, citizenship, service and character. The National Honor Society recognizes outstanding students at Liberty Christian High School.

Our DCA chapter of the NJHS & LCHS NHS chapter challenges students to think beyond themselves and develop a sacrificial generosity of spirit.  They develop and carry out service projects, benefitting the school as well as the community, even impacting organizations and people overseas.  DCA NJHS & LCHS NHS members are inspired to become leaders for their generation.

We currently run a Peer Tutoring Program, we serve as ambassadors for various school events, and we sponsor our school’s annual Spring Spirit Week.  Our previous service projects have included recognizing our local first responders, collecting toys for children at Sturdy Hospital, and donating Christmas sacks to Guatemalan orphans.  We have been blessed to volunteer at Attleboro’s Food ‘n’ Friends Family Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, and Bags of Hope, Furniture building for the homeless to get back on their feet and impacting foster children throughout the country.  Our “Socktober” collection for the underprivileged was a huge success. We look forward to many opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the future.

Every year we go into the community to volunteer!
